American Apparel My first job in Canada was in American Apparel (AA) as a “Back Stock Associate”. Funny because the owner is Canadian even though the factory is in L.A. and is proudly made in the US.  I only worked there for three months, folding and steaming cloths. I was not able to practice my english a lot and all the people working there were weird or maybe I was the weird. But after all was a good experience, it was the first time I was doing something different from school or a serious job.  And it gave me the vision that if I wanted to stay more than one year in Canada  it is essential to get back to school in Canada.
